Sister Act

Sister Act

If you were born in the 80’s watching “Sister Act” in the early 90’s by Whoopi Goldberg is probably something that you’ve done, one, twice, thrice, or ten times.

Personally I couldn’t get enough of the Comedy Musical, not because it was just out of this world. Remember this?

Sister Mary Clarence: My name is Sister Mary Clarence and I am…
Frankie: [interrupts her] Yo mama!
Sister Mary Clarence: No, sir, let’s talk about your mama. Who’s so dumb she got hit by a parked car!

Now all kidding aside, Sister Cristina Scuccia’s, performed at The Voicy Italy, her audition was based on Alicia Key’s “No One” which left everyone in awe, the judges speechless, and …well at this point its worth watching for yourself!

The 25 year old known who comes from Milan, is about to become an Italian pop culture. Her addition has hit 11 million views in the two days that it’s been online, and is being shared across all social networks, by people all over the world.

At one point during her performance, Sister Cristina says “I hope that Pope Francis will call me now.”

She def. deserved that standing ovation, no wonder all of the judges wanted to be her mentor, but she ended up choosing rapper J-Ax to guide her through the rest of The Voice.

What do you think? Will she make it to the final round?

    Thanks for this post.
Who can forget Sister Act! :)

I don`t watch these talent shows, almost at all! But one simply can`t escape hearing about them. Many times friends send me clips of winners or funny auditions and the like. Some of such shows, I think, are less of a fiasco and/or hiding-behind-the-talent-search curtain and maybe this one is amongst them.

When I saw she was going to sing that song I felt (uh oh, a great great song is about to be momentarily ruined) but her voice is really something! High & low notes of a quiet (uneasy) song! The comments of judges were funny as well :)

    • Zaman 3anak! I haven’t heard from you in a while. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, and yes i couldn’t agree more with what you said.
